The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows, Set To Perform At The 2019 Great Pacific Airshow
Returning to the US for the first time in 11 years, the Red Arrows will be closing their North America tour at the fourth annual Great Pacific Airshow
The United Kingdom Red Arrows will be flying from across the pond to perform in Huntington Beach at the fourth annual Great Pacific Airshow, which will take place Oct. 4 - 6, 2019
Flying distinctive Hawk fast-jets, the Red Arrows represents the speed, agility and precision of the Royal Air Force at their first Great Pacific Airshow and their first North American performance tour in 11 years. With only six U.S. shows, the Red Arrows North America tour will end with a farewell performance in Huntington Beach at the Great Pacific Airshow.
Performing alongside the Red Arrows this year will be the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, the US Air Force F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team in their premier airshow season, plus the USAF A-10C Thunderbolt II Demo Team and the US Navy F-18 Super Hornet Tailhook Legacy Demo Team.
“Hosting the Red Arrows is an honor for The Great Pacific Airshow as we’ve been selected as the only West Coast performance. The Red Arrows, one of the world's premier aerobatic display teams, will definitely be a highlight of this year’s show,” said Kevin Elliott, airshow director and CEO of Pacific Airshow LLC, operator of The Great Pacific Airshow.
The 2018 Great Pacific Airshow attracted more than two million attendees, making it one of the largest airshows in the United States, and was named by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds the 2018 Civilian Show Site of the Year.
A world-class lineup of civilian performers will also make up the roster of the exhilarating four-plus hour show. As if that wasn’t enough, there will also be a festival area with exhibits and vendors, VIP ticketing options and more.
Since its inception in 2016, The Great Pacific Airshow has been a family friendly, patriotic event that brings together the community while making a positive financial impact on local businesses during the traveling off-season.
